DeGray lake was the site for the 3rd tournament of the Futrell Marine Team Trail of 2013.  The weather was less than perfect with 42 degree temperature and a stiff North wind greeted the York Gary AutoPlex team of Tommy Grant and Randy Tidwell who led the boats out of the Spillway Ramp.

The 2:30 weigh in saw Brandon Vines bring a solid 5 fish limit weighing 19.83 to the scales. Brandon was fishing solo out of the new X19 Xpress powered by a Yamaha 150 he purchased and was set up by the Futrell Marine team. Brandon reportedly caught his limit and was calling by 8:30 using a blue Football Jig and tipped with a Watermelon Seed Power Craw, casting up shallow and fishing back to depths up to 20' off of secondary points in the mid-lake region.

The father and son team of Ricky and Trent Owens took 2nd place with a weight of 15.08 to make a charge back up the Diamond Bank Anglers of the year Leader Board.  Their fish was caught on a Spinderlla in over 15 to 20 ft of water. 

The ever competitive team of Jeremiah Kindy and Timmy Poe was 3rd with a weight of 14.90. They caught their fish on jigs and jerks bait.

7th 11.82 Westfall & Stinnett

Smallest weighed stringer .96 - $100 to Corley & Corley.

Poe & Kindy - 15lb. target weight with under beats over $250 sponsored by Vines Trucking

Smith & Westfall - 7lb. target weight under beats over $250 sponsored by Vines Logging.

1st Big Bass Scott & Scott - 5.83 lbs.

2nd Big Bass Freel & Barfield - 5.60 lbs.

Our next tournament is the open tournament on Broken Bow on April 20th.

The next FMTT tournament and final tournament in the Diamond Bank Angler of the year race will be on Lake Millwood out of Yarborough Landing in May 18th.

The FMTT will conclude at Lake Greeson on June 29th with our Classic, where one team will take home a Xpres Boat valued over $16,000.
